What's the big deal with online
Advanced Driving Improvement anyway?
We'll break it down for you:
-
NO CLASSROOM ATTENDANCE
NECESSARY. You won't have to sit in a classroom for twelve
hours straight or attend multiple class sessions. By taking advanced
driving improvement online, you will be able to log in and out of
the course on YOUR schedule, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
-
NO TRANSPORTATION
NEEDED. Since the advanced driving improvement program
is 100% online, you will not have to bother a friend or family member
to give you a ride to class. Also, you will not need to worry about
driving to class on a suspended license.
-
NO WORKBOOK. Some
classroom advanced driving improvement programs require that you
complete a workbook in class or take your homework with you and
bring it back to the next session. There are no workbooks with the
online course.
-
PERSONAL PRIVACY.
The online advanced driving improvement option allows you
to complete ADI school in the privacy of your own home or office.
You will not have to sit in a room with strangers and share information
that you might not want others to know about.
-
CONVENIENT DELIVERY
OPTIONS. Because we know that you want to start driving
again as soon as you can, we offer convenient options for the delivery
of your ADI completion certificate and letter of enrollment. (An
ADI course letter of enrollment will be needed if you plan to apply
for a hardship license until your license is reinstated per §322.291,
Florida Statutes.) When you complete your course registration, your
enrollment letter will automatically be mailed to your address,
but you can also receive your enrollment letter immediately for
a small fee. Delivery options are shown when you pay for your course.
-
COURSE APPROVED
BY DHSMV. Our advanced driving improvement is FULLY APPROVED
by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV),
so you do not have to worry that the State or the clerk of the court
(if you are court-ordered to attend) will not accept your proof
of course completion. Why risk your license with another course?
Is it true that by taking advanced
driving improvement I won't have to serve my license suspension?
No. You must still serve out your required license suspension
or revocation period if your Florida driver license has been suspended
or revoked for too many points, classification as a habitual traffic
offender, or other reasons. In order to apply for a Florida hardship
license, which will enable you to drive to and from work and other
necessary appointments, you will be required to show proof of enrollment
in a State approved advanced driving improvement class. With our online
course, you can pay a small extra fee to print out your enrollment
letter right away and take it to the Florida driver license office.
You must also provide proof of advanced driving improvement course
completion to the Florida DHSMV before they will reinstate your driver
license after your suspension or revocation period has ended. Don't
make the mistake of waiting too long and forgetting that you are required
to complete the advanced driving improvement course. Sign up today
and get the course out of the way!
The Florida
DHSMV answers many general questions about Florida driver license
point suspensions and other related topics on their
