Per Florida law, the ADI online course requires a minimum of 12 hours to complete. During each course hour you must take a 10-minute break, so the actual instructional time for the course is 10.5 hours. At the end of the first six hours, you will be forced to take a 24-hour break. After 24 hours, you may resume your course activity. This is a State requirement that applies to all online ADI courses.
There is no time limit on completing the course. You may take as much time as you need.
Payment is required before you may begin the ADI course. We accept all major credit cards. When you submit your online payment to us, your payment information is encrypted for your security using DigiCert® technology.
After you successfully complete the course, the American Safety Institute (our partner in offering this online ADI course) will deliver your Certificate of Completion when it suits your needs – and your deadlines.* Just choose your preferred delivery method during the initial course registration process. If you have registered for the course shortly before your due date and you believe that you will not be able to complete the course in time, you might be able to obtain a date extension from the court. If this is an option that you had not already considered, please bear in mind that many courts do not advertise that they allow a grace period for completions, or that they might accept a certificate that is received after your due date as long as it has been postmarked before your due date.
If you wish to cancel your registration or inquire about a refund, please contact the customer service department at (863) 616-9894 (Mon - Fri, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST).
We will do whatever we can to assist you in the timely completion of your course work. In some cases, you might be able to obtain a deadline extension from the court or other authority to which your completion must be reported. If you wish to obtain an extension, you should contact the court in which your case is recorded. If you contact the court and are unable to receive an extension, you can request express shipment of your certificate at registration or by calling 1-800-800-7121 (Mon - Fri, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST, Saturday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM EST).
